Don’t wait on a crack

Even if the phone still works, cracks tend to spread, and broken glass can cut fingers or let moisture in.

Signs you need a new screen

  • Cracked or shattered glass
  • Black screen while the phone still rings or vibrates
  • Lines, green or pink tint, or dead spots
  • Touch that doesn’t respond, or “ghost” taps

Is it really the screen?

A black screen isn’t always the display. Sometimes it’s the battery or a loose connection. It’s worth ruling that out before replacing the display.

Choose your part quality

Most phone repairs can be done with more than one grade of part. Which grades are available depends on your model, so ask us.

FAQ

Common questions

My screen is cracked but still works. Should I fix it now?

It’s worth it. Cracks tend to spread, and broken glass can cut fingers or let moisture in.

My screen is black but the phone still rings. Is it the screen?

Often, but not always. A black screen can also be the battery or a loose connection, so that’s worth ruling out before replacing the display.

Are all replacement screens the same?

No. OLED models can take an OEM-grade panel or a lower-cost aftermarket one, and some aftermarket screens are LCD rather than OLED. The screen parts list shows the grade and version of each.

Do you repair iPad screens?
